GQ 'My House Junho' is back. What is the most enjoyable thing recently?
JH right now. The weather is coming, it's really awesome. It rained every weekend. It's been a while since this sunny day.
GQ I do. I can feel bright energy. Weather, Junho. Do you have a routine to start the day?
JH As soon as I wake up in the morning, I stretch for about 30 minutes and then exercise lightly. I am very lucky.
JH My heart is wonderfully relaxed. If it's a change, it's like a change. In the past, there was something like that you had to show something, but now I have an expectation of what I can do. I'm really excited.
GQ Someday I said that I was sensitive and thoughtful, so I guessed that I would have some troubles.
Before serving in the JH military, I was a little bit impatient. Because of the worries about the long gap. But, saying that time solves everything, I gradually became more relaxed, and my feelings of being chased also subsided.
Glad GQ. There was also good news during the hiatus. 'My House', which was announced in 2015, became a hot topic on YouTube and caused a craze for reverse driving.
JH I often look for 2PM's stage videos, but the latest version of the content was created to show people who don't know us well, 'This is 2PM'. In that respect, I am very grateful to the people who had fun with the content of 'My Home'.
GQ's 'My Home' stage video, especially Junho, gained great popularity. There was a saying, 'My house Junho', and there was a lot of reaction that he was sexy. What did you think of such an image?
JH Oh, it was a little strange at first. I didn't intend to do that at all. I just performed hard as I always did, but when I got a lot of attention, I was amazed.
GQ Isn't it intentional?
JH Originally, the goal of 'My Home' was to perform hard. If it was intended, I wanted to make you feel 'Junho is always serious about dance and performance'. So, except for the choreography, I tried to make things rather plain. I didn't care about my facial expressions, and I didn't look at the camera well. Pretending to look sexy? Your crushed eyes? I don't think I even thought of it.
GQ Is that right? Many people have misunderstood. So do you think you're sexy?
JH I say with my mouth... . I'm not sure about that, but I like sexy things. However, I'm not talking about external attractiveness. The desire to achieve something, the tenacity not to give up, the mind to admit and correct mistakes. Being cool and sexy to me means having this mindset.

JH I think you can see it like that.
GQ Yesterday, the 2PM members said they had a complete schedule after a long time. What stories are coming up as you plan your future activities?
JH Let's do something right, let's break from the old and show something new, let's do what others don't do. Various opinions come and go, but in fact, it's a story that I always said whenever I was preparing for a comeback. In other words, we have never deviated greatly from the color of 2PM and we did not try to do anything by force. Every time we showed us what we have and what we can express. 'My house' was like that.
When I think about GQ, 2PM has a different color from other groups since the start.
JH is a little bit special or worrying about a different direction, but I think it's greedy. Isn't it the best option to show us as we are, I think so
GQ You said you have more room than impatience. There seems to be a similar change or maturity of the members, but what changes do you see at 2PM's atmosphere before and after the hiatus?
JH Nothing has changed. Really. As time goes by, I and the members have personally changed big and small, but as soon as six people gather, they go back to the old days. They chatter, try to talk about themselves, and don't stop playing around. When I work, I do it. It's been a while since yesterday, but it's not different from what it was years ago. Sometimes, when I get a question about when I'm having the most fun while working at 2PM, it's said that it's time to be noisy in the waiting room with the members, but yesterday I felt that kind of atmosphere. I finally realized that I came back at 2PM.
After listening to the GQ, I think that Junho and Lee Junho at 2PM will be different.
JH right. It had to be different. So, those who know me as 2PM may misunderstand me when they see me in private activities. Why don't you laugh? Why did your voice go down? Are you in poor condition? Like this.
What kind of person is Lee Jun-ho in GQ's own mind?
JH Well. It's not much different from others, but if I explain one thing about me, I live with the belief that 'it becomes unconditional' for my dreams, goals, and what I want. I don't even think of negative thoughts like 'How do I do this' or 'I don't think I can't do this in the first place.
How many dreams have you made when you debuted at GQ?
JH Almost everything. It didn't take long.
GQ What was that, and did you achieve it so quickly?
JH I tend to set goals very concretely. I have to get first place in music broadcasting and get the grand prize at the year-end awards ceremony After becoming the best in Korea, we have to become the best in Asia and a global singer. What brand of advertising should I shoot? Talking about it, it's cute. I had such a goal, but I think I almost achieved it at the beginning of my debut. When I was nineteen, twenty years old.
GQ It is possible and more than enough to remember 2PM's explosive popularity and progress in those days. Almost at the beginning, when I achieve my dream, I wonder what kind of state it will be. how is it?
JH Even though I was young, I knew that what had happened to me was a truly precious experience and that it could be an honor that would be difficult to return. Nevertheless, it remains a regret for not being able to realize it properly. We didn't have time to do that because we were busy, and as we were always with the members, we didn't know how other people see us or how they think. It's the peak of joy, I'll feel like flying in the sky many times in my life. As a member of 2PM, it may have been felt, but as Lee Jun-ho, it seems that it was not fully realized.
GQ So it might be more regret
JH But even if it was possible, I wouldn't have enjoyed it like a child. When I was very strict with myself, the popularity would pass someday, so I always felt excited that I had to work harder.
JH haha. I admit it. I really like the word ambition. Some people take it as a negative nuance. Like greed or desire. Something seems like someone will be screaming. In my dictionary, ambition is purely to achieve something, a hundred times the size of passion. It's an idea I've always had since childhood Passion times a hundred times ambition.
GQ is great. Do you have anything like that? Like ambitions that have not been achieved yet.
JH From a long time ago, I had a dream for an overseas stage. Even now. I dream of going to Hollywood.
When I look at GQ, I remember that when I started acting, I beat out among the members.
I mentioned it several times in the JH interview, and while the members at the beginning of their debut showed excellence through personal activities and entertainment, it was not easy for me. But there really are things that suit each aptitude. In entertainment, I thought that I was overwhelmed by the burden of showing something, but I did not have to do that when I was acting. I just need to purely melt into my character and act. I was able to find myself in a comfortable state in front of the camera.
The name of GQ actor Junho Lee is no longer unfamiliar. So I wanted to ask this. Do you still think you are an idol?
JH Yes, I think I can be an eternal idol for some, someone can see me as an actor, and an artist for some. It depends on what perspective you see me.
What is GQ Junho's number one priority?
I am neither a JH idol nor an actor. The number one priority for me is 2PM. You don't even have to say why.
GQ Then, what do you want to hear the most while working as 2PM's Junho again?
