Blackpink participates in Google's 'Dear Earth' campaign... Pope Francis alongside former US President Barack Obama


 BLACKPINK will participate in Google's climate change campaign 'Dear Earth', which will be held on YouTube Original on October 23 (local time). Together with world leaders such as Pope Francis, former US President Barack Obama, and Google Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai.


Blackpink will appear as a special speaker. It will deliver a meaningful message aimed at raising awareness of climate change to fans around the world. A spectacular performance is also planned.

Since its debut in August 2016, BLACKPINK has released many hit songs over the past five years, rising to the status of a global artist. The number of subscribers to the YouTube channel currently stands at 67.1 million, ranking first among artists in the worldIn addition, the combined number of individual members and Blackpink's official Instagram followers is over 245 million.

With this influence, Blackpink is acting as an ambassador for the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP26), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and various public interest campaigns.
