Bulletproof Boy Scouts V, the No. 1 star of the Japanese site K-pop idol [BTS]

 


BTS V rose to the top of the popular rankings on the Japanese K-pop idol ranking site'Nehan'.

Japan's popular Korean Wave website 'Nehan' announced the popularity ranking of Korean idol members on the 4th, and as a result, V gained a total of 4593 votes, ranking first in total. V is the only star in the rankings to exceed 4000 votes. In particular, the same result came out even though there were no solo activities or local promotions.

In addition, V was also in the 'Top 9'in'Bihan', a popular ranking site for Korean actors. There is only one drama in which V appeared in the 2017 KBS2 drama'Hwarang'.

In Japan, V is being called 'Tae Tae Land' after his real name (Kim Tae-Hyung) and is sending special affection. V's self-composed song'Sweet Night' was ranked #1 on the iTunes Top Song Chart in Japan. V is the only one released in Korea that has reached the top of the Japanese iTunes Top Songs chart.

Japanese portal site Big Rob [Biglobe], a Japanese portal site, highlighted V's success, saying, "BTS''Sweet Night' is leaving a name in history as a solo song with phenomenal popularity."

V was ranked 5th, the highest-ranking among overseas artists, in the ``celebrity ranking'' of the Japanese Tweeple Trend of 2020. From 1st to 4th, Japanese popular groups SixTONES, Nogizaka 46, King&Prince, and Kis-My-Ft2 took the place.
