JYP Entertainment Issues Warning Regarding Invasion Of Stray Kids’ Privacy, Promises Legal Action

JYP Entertainment has shared a further statement warning those who continue to invade Stray Kids privacy.

The agency issued a notice in December regarding its plans to take legal action over the issue. The announcement released on February 5 is as follows:

[Hello, this is JYPE.

Despite the fact that we previously shared our policy of taking strong action regarding cases in which our artist’s privacy is invaded and safety is threatened, there are still repeated cases of people committing actions such as waiting for the artist outside the dorm, company, or salon; following the artist when they are traveling for scheduled activities; attempting physical contact and grabbing; and coming inside the dorm building’s entrance. For this reason, the artist’s psychological suffering has been severe and they are unable to even have the everyday life that they require.

As we announced previously, for all activities that violate the private life and personal rights of our artists, the person will be placed on a permanent blacklist for Stray Kids fan club activities and we will carry out criminal complaints and accusations to the relevant police station after collecting evidence through CCTV and monitoring.

Our company considers the top priority to be our artist’s safety and rights, and we promise that in case of actions that hinder this, we will take strong action by using every measure possible, including legal punishments.

We ask for the cooperation of the people who cherish Stray Kids.
Thank you.]
