International general Chinese government media, BTS sniper again “South Tibet is a Chinese territory”

 China's Global Times, BTS snipers again... "Nam Tibet is China"

 The Global Times, an English version of the Chinese Communist Party's official media, the Global Times, again struck BTS. It is alleged that South Tibet, a Chinese territory, was used as Indian territory.

On the 24th (local time), the Global Times reported that Chinese netizens were opposed to the attachment of a map indicating the South Tibet region as Indian territory on the eighth page of the financial report released the day before by Big Hit Entertainment. This map was used to show revenue in countries around the world in 2020.

According to the Global Times, a Chinese netizen who found a map that marked South Tibet as Indian territory in Big Hit's financial report posted a related post on the Chinese SNS website'Douban'. In the post, the netizen said that he urged Big Hit to review and revise the map "so that it does not cause hostility between the two countries."

Chinese netizens who saw this post said, "Is it so difficult to find the right map or is it just not wanting?"

The'South Tibet' region, which they claim to be Chinese territory, is a border dispute between China and India. This region, which is effectively controlled by India, is precisely the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. During the period of British colonization of India in the past, the British signed the 'Shimla Treaty' with Tibet in 1914, and set the 'McMahon Line' as the border, making South Tibet a territory of British India. However, China has not recognized all of these treaties and has insisted that the area, which covers 90,000 km2, is its own territory.

The Global Times also claimed in the article, "China has repeatedly emphasized that South Tibet belongs to China, and does not recognize the so-called 'Arunachal Pradesh' state that India claims."

In addition, the article said that some Chinese netizens dominate BTS, saying, "It is the fault of Big Hit's agency, it is not the fault of BTS."

However, in response to Dudun, other Chinese netizens received the Van Fleet Award, which was awarded to individuals or organizations that contributed to the promotion of US-ROK relations by BTS in October of last year. He said he criticized "BTS' repeated attacks on China," referring to his impressions of "I will always remember."

In the article at the time, the Global Times said, "Among the impressions of the award, 'The history of the hardships both countries suffered.'  Chinese netizens are angry at the part," he criticized BTS. China emphasizes patriotism enough to call the Korean War the 'anti-US aid war'. At the time, a Chinese netizen even claimed that "BTS's impression of the award was a statement that ignores US aggression and interference with Asia."
