According to the legal community, JBJ95 filed a lawsuit against the current agency, Star Road Entertainment, to confirm the existence of an exclusive contract in the Seoul Western District Court on the 9th.
JBJ95 is a two-member group consisting of Sang-gyun (Kim Sang-gyun) and Kenta (Kenta Takada), members from 'Produce 101', and debuted with the mini-album 'Home' in October 2018.
According to the complaints submitted to them, JBJ95 had to hire a temporary manager directly because all of its employees left the company due to unpaid wages and did not support a dedicated manager. Because of this, JBJ95 had considerable difficulty managing schedules, as well as hiring stylists, and managing hair and makeup reservations. JBJ95 members also took care of the expenses for their recruitment and transportation.
The members of JBJ95 sent proof of the contents to their agency, Star Road Entertainment, to correct the violation of the exclusive contract and plan for future activities, but rather, the agency said to compensate for damages and punishment. They claim that there is no sign of correction for JBJ95 support activities such as content production and schedule adjustments, such as wages being overdue and all employees leave the company.
