Bulletproof Boy Scouts nominated for British Popular Music Awards 'Brit Awards'

BTS has been nominated for the UK's most prestigious popular music award, 'Brit Awards' for the first time.

On the 31st (local time), the Brit Awards nominated BTS as a nomination for the International Group category along with Foo Fighters and Heim. Pooh Fighters has already won four awards in this category.

The BBC reported that last year's Brit Awards angered BTS fans after removing the international group division.

At the time, one fan wrote on Twitter that "Brit Awards stole the BTS award," and another fan said, "The international male and female divisions are left behind. Is it so desperate to block BTS?", the BBC said.

In this year's album category, 4 out of 5 nominations were filled with female singers such as Dua Lipa and Jesse Wear. Last year, the Brit Awards were pointed out that there were fewer female candidates.

The winners of the Brit Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony held on May 11 at the O2 Arena in London.

The awards ceremony, which was held in February, was postponed this year due to the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
