MLD Entertainment Explains T1419’s Comeback Showcase Was Interrupted Due To Fire

MLD Entertainment has made a reassuring statement on the unexpected interruption during T1419’s comeback showcase.

On March 31 at 6 p.m. KST, rookie boy group T1419 held a comeback showcase for their return with their second single album “BEFORE SUNRISE Part. 2.” However, in the middle of the showcase, which was being streamed live through Naver’s V Live, the broadcast suddenly cut out while the MC was speaking and ended prematurely.

Later on, T1419 used a cell phone to begin a new live broadcast and stream the rest of their showcase.

MLD Entertainment has now explained that the technical difficulties were caused by an accidental fire.

“Due to a sudden explosion caused by an electrical short circuit during the comeback showcase, there was a situation in which the screen output suddenly stopped working,” stated the agency. “Thankfully, the fire was quickly put out, and we were able to successfully resolve the situation.”

MLD Entertainment went on, “There was a live broadcast scheduled for Japan immediately after [the comeback showcase], and after we worked to recover the situation, we were able to carry it out.”

“Thankfully,” the agency added, “no one was injured in the accident.”
